BWP Trust is a commercial real estate trust with a portfolio consisting of large format retailing properties, in particular Bunnings Warehouses. BWP tasked us to redesign their annual report with the challenge being to work with the existing brand, but depart completely from previous designs. We decided to take their textural brand pattern and use it in a new way. We used subtle greys and a spot varnish to create shifting highlights and depth as the document is moved. For the internal layout we streamlined, minimised and modernised, creating a simple, clean and polished design.
